The hybrid ACDC solar air conditioners need no batteries, and only a few PV panels to deliver a huge savings. During the day, when air conditioning is needed the most, you can operate this unit up to 100% by solar power. At night, you continue to save due to the >SEER 23 rating on this unit. The mini-split air conditioner design allows you to put solar cooling into the area where it's needed the most.

What is a Solar Hybrid Inverter?
While Inverter Air Conditioners are more powerful and use less energy than a fixed speed air conditioner, Superen's new Solar Hybrid Inverter takes this to a new level of efficiency. The world’s first true Solar Hybrid air conditioner allows you to convert the suns energy through Photovoltaic panels into DC power that is feed directly into the DC side compressor. The combination of the Solar Hybrid technology coupled with a variable DC compressor means you and your family can enjoy the benefits of better temperature control, lower noise levels and increased energy efficiency.
Power Saving Technology
Using Superen's DC Power Supply Control Module the Solar Hybrid unit can use DC Solar generated power or mains AC generated power, or a combination of both as required. This means that no matter the weather, you will have uninterrupted comfort.
The system will use as much solar energy as is available and this solar energy directly replaces the equivalent amount of AC power from the mains provider. Under optimum conditions, this can save up to 100% of your mains power usage.
The Hybrid solar air conditioner can utilize the maximum amount of available solar power* drawn from the PV modules directly during the day even if there is no grid-tied utility power at all.
Even when the sun is not shining at all during the night, this ultra high efficiency heat pump (A SEER 23 rating without solar and SEER 35 with solar) will keep you comfortable and save you money using far less electricity than a normal A/C or heat pump of the same capacity.
Uses 4 x Solar Panels
Our hybrid solar air conditioner system uses standard solar panels in series connections. The input voltage from the solar panel array is 100~300V DC, it gives flexibility when using different model solar panels.
The 3.5kw hybrid solar air conditioner is recommended to use 4-6pcs 275~330W/30V solar panels which will give maximum energy savings from the grid.

Our Superen Solar Hybrid air conditioners run on DC power converted from mains power. Our new Solar Hybrid can accept DC power directly from the Solar Panels without the need of an expensive inverter or controller. The solar DC power directly replaces the mains power being supplied by your energy provider. This can reduce daytime running costs by up to 100%.
Easy Solar Connections
Connection from the solar panels to the Superen Solar Hybrid outdoor unit is very simple with a terminal block mounted in the outdoor unit for the positive and negative cables straight from the solar panels.
